SAHS El Rey Fido 2013 competition

Flyer from SAHSShow the Whole City of San Antonio How Regal Your Dog Is!
Your canine may be king or queen of your casa, but does he or she have what it takes to become San Antonio’s next top dog? The contest is on for El Rey Fido 2013 to see who will rise above the rest to join the 2013 El Rey Fido Royal Court!

How to Win
It’s as simple as this: To become crowned El Rey Fido XI in April 2013, your dog (and you) must collect more money for the orphaned pets of the San Antonio Humane Society than any other canine-and-human pair. El Rey Fido will lead a Royal Court to include the next four top dog fundraisers. El Rey Fido XI and the Court will serve as ambassadors for the San Antonio Humane Society for the following year.

Visit SAhumane.org for more information and to get signed up to start fundraising!

About San Antonio Humane Society

The San Antonio Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill organization that has served Bexar County and its surrounding areas since 1952. We are not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States or the ASPCA. Every year, the San Antonio Humane Society shelters, medically treats, and rehabilitates more than 5,000 animals that have been injured, abused, or abandoned until they are ready for adoption. As an adoption guarantee organization, the shelter only euthanizes animals that we are unable to treat, have a condition that poses a significant threat to the other animals in the shelter or that have aggression issues. Through our adoption, volunteer, foster care, and educational programs we educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, micro-chipping and spaying/neutering. In the near future, we plan to expand our ability to aid homeless pets by adding a shelter medicine hospital to our campus. Our mission is to protect and improve the lives of dogs and cats by providing shelter, care, adoption, rescue, spay and neuter programs, and community education.
