Enjoy Spring Break with the animals! Camp Humane is held at the San Antonio Humane Society and is the place for animal loving kids to learn about pets. This year, there are several options for kids to participate in Spring Camp Humane.
On March 12-14 a three day camp will be held for children ages 7-11. Kids attending Camp Humane will participate in an assortment of hands on time with animals, presentations from animal experts, lessons on proper pet care and humane treatment of animals, games, and crafts!
On March 11 and 15 we will be holding Service Camp for kids ages 12-15 (may attend one or both days). Alongside all of the fun activities that come with attending Camp Humane, Service Camp is for kids who aren’t afraid to get up and out of their chairs and receive hands on experience as they earn community service hours. Kids attending Service Camp will learn how to train some of the shelter dogs, help with daily cleaning of the shelter, and participate in many other fun service projects that benefit our shelter animals.
