San Antonio Gathers for Great Conversation! on Wednesday, Feb. 29

San Antonio leaders, scholars and donors will gather at the Institute for Texan Cultures on Wednesday, Feb. 29 for The University of Texas at San Antonio’s 12th annual “Great Conversation.” The UTSA fundraising event pairs guests with conversations leaders for engaging after-dinner conversations on an array of diverse and stimulating topics. The event benefits UTSA Honors College student scholarships, research stipends, and leadership and global learning opportunities.

Great Conversations is scheduled from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 at the Institute of Texan Cultures, 801 E. César Chávez Blvd., San Antonio, Texas 78205-3296.

Conversation leaders will strike up engaging dinner discourse on nearly four dozen varied topics at this year’s event, one table at a time. The occasion will also increase public awareness about the important cultural and intellectual role that UTSA has in San Antonio.

Individual tickets for this year’s fundraiser are $85 per person. Recent UTSA graduates (2007-2011) may purchase an individual ticket for $65.
